— The Academy
Where the next names begin
The Academy is how we find emerging cricketers before the market does — and how we build them into names worth representing.

— Why it exists
Every name on our roster was once unproven. We would rather know a player before the world does.
Long before a following, an agent, or a highlight reel, there is a coach who knows, a season that changed something, and a temperament that holds when it matters. The Academy exists to notice that earlier, and to give it somewhere to go.
— The pathway
Four stages, in order. A player can step away at any point, and so can we.
01
Identified
A player comes onto our radar through our scouting network, a coach referral, or a performance in age-group, club, or domestic cricket.
02
Assessed
We watch them properly, live where we can, and look beyond the scorecard at technique, temperament, and how they carry a side.
03
Developed
Work on the details that separate a good player from a credible name: presentation, media, and how a career is built off the field.
04
Represented
When the fit is right on both sides, a player joins the roster and we take their opportunities to market.
— What we look for
Talent starts the conversation. It does not finish it.
A technique that holds up when the match, the pitch, or the pressure turns against them.
How they treat teammates, officials, and the people doing the unseen work around a team.
Composure across a long season, a poor run of form, and a crowd that has decided against them.
An appetite to build a career beyond the next fixture, and the patience to do it properly.
— Where we look
Watching the levels below the highlights
Age-group and representative cricket
Under-age and representative programmes, where the standard is already demanding.
Club and league seasons
Week-in, week-out cricket, which is where consistency and durability show themselves.
Domestic and franchise pathways
First-class, List A, and T20 cricket across the markets we operate in.
Coach and academy referrals
Direct recommendations from the coaches and academies who see a player every day.
